Our Farm Story
McInnis Farms, located in East Texas, has been producing grain products—primarily corn—since 2010. Founded by first-generation farmer Braden McInnis while he was still in high school, the operation expanded rapidly throughout his college years and beyond. Today, Braden is a part owner of Blackfoot Feed & Grain alongside his cousin, Matthew Wisenbaker, who spent countless hours working beside him in the fields during harvest. Recognizing their consistent annual corn supply from McInnis Farms, Braden and Matthew sought innovative ways to utilize that grain while maintaining ownership from the field all the way to the consumer.
Precision Planting
Our precision planters use advanced technology to place each seed at the optimal depth, spacing, and location for consistent emergence and strong early growth. By accounting for soil conditions and field variability, it helps maximize yield potential while reducing seed waste.
Fueling Growth
Our row crop fertilization supplies crops with the essential nutrients needed for healthy growth and strong yields. By applying the right nutrients at the right time and rate, it improves plant development while maximizing efficiency and soil performance.
Yielding Results
Our corn harvest takes place from late summer to early fall. During this time, we carefully cut and monitor yields while managing our own grain transportation from the field to our storage bins, ensuring consumers receive a high-quality, affordable product.
